The King's Student Loan Code of Conduct
While The King’s does not maintain a list of lenders it affirms the following concerning its relationships with lending institutions. The King’s will not solicit or accept gifts of more than nominal value from any lending institution in exchange for any advantage sought by the lending institution. The King’s will not allow a lending institution to pay for placement on a list of lenders. Prohibited forms of payment include revenue-sharing arrangements for other types of loans or loan volume and participation in opportunity pools with lenders.
Employees of The King’s are prohibited from soliciting or accepting anything of more than nominal value from any lending institution.
Employees of The King’s may be reimbursed for reasonable expenses but they are prohibited from receiving payment and gifts of more than nominal value for serving on the advisory board of any lending institution.
Employees of The King’s are prohibited from receiving compensation for consulting services to lenders.
The King’s will not allow the employees of a lender to identify themselves to its students as employees of the school. The King’s will not allow an employee of a lender to provide school call center or financial aid office functions.
