About Financial Aid

Chief Financial Aid Officer
Norm Stoppenbrink
(818) 779-8271

The Office of Financial Aid has been established to assist students in obtaining grants and loans for educational expenses. College students may apply for grants PELL, ACG. FSEOG, and federal student loans the Direct Loan Program. Seminary students may apply for student loans through the Direct Loan Program. Veteran benefits are also available for College and Seminary students.

The Financial Aid Office processes students through the Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAO) online to enable an efficient process of distance and local students. Students may apply for “financial aid” at anytime during the academic year. However, to avoid frustration and delay we recommend that the students apply by filing The Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the VFAO Interview at least two months before the quarter begins to allow for processing. The FAFSA determines the student’s eligibility for the various Federal Financial Aid programs. This determination is called an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) Number.
