As an outgrowth of the ministry of Pastor Jack W. Hayford and The Church On The Way in Los Angeles, California, the school has a vital relationship with the 18,000 constituent church. Having been birthed through The Church On The Way, the institution walks in mutual partnership with the congregation’s and the Foursquare church’s leadership in fulfilling its mission of preparing and equipping servant leaders for ministry in the local church and community. Through this relationship the school has a religious exemption status as provided within the provisions of the State of California Education Code.
